Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 6, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Notice explains how PerformancePoint LLC ("PerformancePoint," "we," "us") handles information in PolicyPulse, our employee handbook and HR compliance software. Our customers use PolicyPulse to draft and maintain their own internal documents, so most of the content stored in the Service is yours or your organization's.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, organization, and role.
  • Workspace content: the handbook text, policies, branding, jurisdiction selections, decisions, approvals, and files you and your team create or upload in the Service.
  • Billing information: handled by our merchant of record, Paddle; we receive billing status and subscription details, not your full card number.
  • Usage and support data: product interaction information, feedback you submit, and records of support conversations.

3. How we use information

  • To operate the Service: drafting, monitoring, alerts, approvals, version history, and exports;
  • To personalize the Service for your organization, such as your branding and preferred voice;
  • To process billing, manage subscriptions, and handle renewals and refunds;
  • To provide support and respond to feedback;
  • To protect the security and integrity of the Service and comply with law.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your workspace content to advertise to anyone.

4. AI processing

PolicyPulse uses artificial intelligence services to draft, review, and suggest handbook language. To do this, content you provide may be processed by our AI service providers under agreements that restrict how that data is used. AI-generated output is a starting point: you review, edit, approve, or reject it before it becomes part of your handbook.

5. Sharing

We share information only with:

  • Service providers that host the application, store data, process AI features, and deliver email — under contracts limiting their use of the data;
  • Paddle, our merchant of record, for payments, taxes, billing, and refunds;
  • Your organization — members you invite can see the workspace content of the projects they are added to;
  • Legal and safety — where required by law or to protect rights, property, or security.

6. Retention

We keep account and workspace information while your subscription is active. After your account ends, we retain workspace content for a reasonable period so you can request an export, then delete or anonymize it. Some records, such as billing history, are kept as long as required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@performancepoint.ai. If your organization uses PolicyPulse, your employer controls the workspace content, and we will direct requests about that content to your organization's administrators where appropriate.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, database-level permissions, and audit logging to protect the Service. No system is perfectly secure, so please protect your account credentials and report any suspected issues to us.

9. Children

PolicyPulse is a business product and is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders.
